Italian Vacation

Lucca, Italy

The home of Puccini, an opera composer. This Tuscany town is surrounded by Renaisaance walls. It contains quaint gardens and a tower with trees. A great place to walk or bike around the 16th and 17th-centery ramparts.

Cinque Terre

Nestle along the northwestern coast of Italy, five fishing villages hug the mountainous terraine. Ancent paths connect the towns. Tourest enjoy the vigorous hikes between the villages. If you are too tired, you can hop on a train to take you to the next village. You could also take a leisurly boat ride between the villages.

Bernini's Fountain of Four Rivers

Located in Piazza Novone in Rome Italy, this famous fountain. The fountain designer was a rival to the designer of the church. The fountain features all the figures looking away or shielding their face from the rivals work. The rivals buildings contain sculptures looking away from the fountain.

Paestum

Greek along the western coast line, below the Almalfi Coast. The ruins of Paestum are known for it's three Doric order temples.

Mount Vesuvius

Steam escaping from the crater of Mount Vesuvius.

Siena

A city in the Tuscany Region of Italy. It has a famous fan shaped square. Twice a year they hold a horse racing event in the square. While the event is only several minutes, it's celebrated the whole day.
